Hi, I’m Matthew. I grew up in London, Luton, and East Anglia. My journey into education started by supporting my family and taking on a role as a lunchtime supervisor. What began as a practical step soon became something much more meaningful, as I discovered a real passion for working in schools and for supporting children.

I enjoy experimenting with different open-source software tools and Linux. I’m also a big reader of science fiction and fantasy.

I’m really excited to get to know everyone at Bosvena School.

I believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported and truly valued. I take a trauma-informed approach and aim to be a calm, consistent and emotionally available adult.

I enjoy building strong relationships with children and getting to know them as individuals. I’ve found that taking the time to understand their interests and what matters to them helps build trust and makes learning more meaningful.

Ultimately, my goal is to help every child feel safe enough to learn and develop confidence. It’s important to show them that they have a trusted adult who will support them through life’s challenges and opportunities.
